Cookie policy
Last updated: 22 July 2026
This page explains which cookies novaresto.com sets, why, and how to control them. Our approach is simple: the strict minimum, nothing more.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by a website. It allows, for example, keeping your session open or remembering your language. Some cookies are essential to the operation of the site; others are used for analytics or advertising: novaresto.com uses no advertising cookies.
2. Cookies used on novaresto.com
The marketing website uses strictly necessary cookies and, with your consent, audience-measurement cookies:
- Laravel session cookie: maintains your browsing session and protects forms (duration: the session).
- CSRF token (XSRF-TOKEN): protects the contact form against fraudulent submissions (duration: the session).
- Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_*): anonymised traffic statistics, set only after you have given your consent (duration: 13 months at most).
3. BackOffice and establishment website cookies
The BackOffice (backoffice.novaresto.com) uses session cookies required for authentication. Establishment websites ({slug}.novaresto.com) use session cookies for the order basket and reservations. None of these cookies is used for advertising or shared with third parties.
4. Analytics
Audience measurement relies on Google Analytics. These cookies are set only after you have given your consent through the banner provided for that purpose, in line with the Data Protection Authority's recommendations. You can withdraw your consent at any time; refusing has no impact on your browsing experience.
5. Managing cookies
Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent, but you can delete or block them in your browser settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge: "Privacy" section). Blocking session cookies may prevent the contact form from being sent.
